About Me

I have been in the wine business for 22 years, in New York and California. For the past eight years I’ve been on my own as a one-man pr firm based in St. Helena. I’ve represented a mix of primarily wineries and wine groups (details and case studies on my Web site). In the rest of my life, I’m married to Stuart Smith, who founded Smith-Madrone Winery on top of Spring Mountain in St. Helena (Napa Valley) 35 years ago…so I’m a vintner by marriage, so to speak, and also the wife of the Scoutmaster (Troop One in St. Helena is a ‘high adventure’ group, always trekking off to climb mountains or dig snow caves) and I’m also the proud mother of a six year old daughter.
