About Me

As the co-founder and co-publisher of SmartsCo, a San Francisco-based publishing company that makes games and guides that make learning fun, I am learning new tidbits of information every day. We started the company in 2002 with WineSmarts – a fun, stylishly designed game that that teaches people about wine without the snobbery. This was soon followed by another of my favorite passions – FoodSmarts, and later with ChocolateSmarts, BeerSmarts, etc. While historically we’ve focused a great deal on wine and food products, today we are busy coming out with games and guides to help people learn about all sorts of pleasures – from sex to travel and to babies and much more.
