I received this kettle as a present and initially never imagined how much use I would get out of it. It's a kettle that boils water at an amazingly fast rate (much faster than the microwave/stove). While this doesn't sound like a big deal, you'd be surprised how convenient it is. I use it every day for my morning tea, to heat water for boiling pasta, instant soups (Ramen, cup-a-soup) and anything else you need hot water for. It's convenient, aesthetically pleasing, unobtrusive and a must-have for any kitchen! #1 on my list of indispensable kitchen gadgetry.
