About keithchamish:

One late afternoon in August of 2006, I entered my Toyota SUV with a selection of ice cold beverages in hand. I was returning from a great day of white-water rafting.

I needed an energy boost to keep me alert for the remainder of the long 2 hour drive back home. Some of the beverages I grabbed from the roadside rest stop were: Diet Mountain Dew, a Red Bull knockoff (I can’t remember its name), and a Starbucks Frappuccino. Back in the car, was my rafting partner/ wife ( shout out to Leah ) She too was eagerly awaiting my liquid purchase to rehydrate on the 90 plus degree day as well . I guess I shouldn’t have been shocked when she belted out “Couldn’t you find me something to drink , you always get the junk you want “. I guess she was reminding that she dislikes carbonated drinks, does not touch any drink made with various animal parts (even if it only has an ingredient that happens to be named after an animal part ) but most importantly avoids the high in sugars loaded with carbohydrates & high low calorie drinks like the plague . Like many others in this country, she always seems to be on a sugar-free, low-carb diet. She loves Premium beverages like coffee but wont waist her calories on a drink high in sugar & carbs. Needles to say I didn’t have much to respond with , so we had a very quiet ride home. She refused to drink anything I bought , and fell asleep within a few minutes. I on the other hand had enough caffeine (for the both of us) to keep me awake until the wee hours of the next morning.

Finally getting some quiet time, ( that’s going to cost me tonight ) I actually began to think as why there was no Diet Coffee on the GO . the long ride & all the caffeine helped me formulate the next steps needed to get something done , & perhaps makes something my wife would drink daily., I assumed if she would drink it I would have a nice coffee people following . By the next evening , after totally messing the kitchen up I showed my wife some samples . After letting me have it for destroying the kitchen she admitted they were pretty good.

Next steps were to get a lab involved and make a real drink ready to market ,
I always liked the gooey drippy look , & drafted some creative, fun & enticing bottles. Kind of stand out “ pick me up “ bottles . So I guess Iced ‘Spresso is somewhat of a love story in a bottle .

If my wife didn’t complain as much or look as good as she does, the world would probably still be waiting on lines & drinking those High Calorie Iced Grande’s .
