Purchase you’ll make?

At any given moment, chance are that my next purchase will be a download from iTunes or a magzine.

Trend in design?

After this 1980s and Web 2.0 stuff runs its course, I think we’ll see a modern take on the 1960s — again.

Car you’d like to own?

Audi TT convertible, silver please. Big step you’d like to you will make? Editor in chief of another magazine.

Fad that will fade?

Please God, let it be reality television (but not Top Chef, that can stay)

Vacation you’ll take?

I split my time between NYC and Denver, but I think Paris is next.

Thing you’re going to fight for?

Publishing my first novel, which I’m currently writing. And a great friggin’ agent who’ll land the deal.

Secret that’s going to leak?

Tom Cruise is really the anti-Christ, but before he unifies the world and fights Jesus, M:I:4 will make $200 million.

Life you’ll lead?

I like this one, thanks.

Fountain of youth?

Triathlon.

Book you’ll read?

The Cheese Monkeys : A Novel in Two Semesters by Chip Kidd. Kidd is one of my inspirations in design and typography — it’s only fair that I read his book; and In the Merde for Love, Stephen Clarke’s new sequel to A Year in the Merde.

Thing that will change the world?

Poultry + flu + people = ? ? ?

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

I’m currently training for another half-Ironman, so I don’t indulge much. Does soy milk count?

Person to whom you’ll say, “I love you”?

My four-year old little girl, my wife and Judy Greer when she finally calls me back.
