This amazing wine and sprits store could not be better unless they had a larger location and floor space. If you're having a larger party, they can arrange for the liquor portion with delivery of ice, wines, mixers, etc. AND they pick up the unused items as well! Wow! Such service! The prices on their selection of wines, spirits, and liqeurs are reasonable and their STAFF IS INCREDIBLE. If they don't carry it, they will tell you who does or at least how to find it. Stop by and check out this local secret.

FIDM Scholarship Store

Downtown at the new Ralphs on your lunchbreak? Stop by the FIDM Scholarship store on the corner of 9th/Grand. Most items range from $8 - $24. And you never know what they have. A completely non-profit organization (all proceeds go to scholarships...hence the name) the store receives donations from a variety of retail and other sources (forever21, Tadashi, Renee Strauss, to name a few). They have everything buttons to fabrics and bikinis to wedding gowns. I've bought a BEAUTIFUL floor length Tadashi gown for $40! Now I know what I'm going to wear to the Emmys!

Being a pastry cook I could not exist without my KitchenAid. Having the larger of the mixers makes life easier. If you're using a mixer, why not have the capacity and the power of the commercial series. The stainless still paddle won't peel and the slow start motor prevents your flour from flying out of the bowl. Soooo worth the money.

Previously available only to PGA Tour professionals, the two-hour experience custom fitting includes driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges, and putter. The fitting process involves placing the special reflectors on your body in order capture a number of swings with the driver, iron and putter to gain a true representation of your swing dynamics and impact position. These swings are analyzed by a custom fit specialist and PGA qualified professional, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once this has been completed and understood, you will be escorted out on to our grass range to validate the club recommendations for the remainder of the two-hour session.How awesome would this be for the golfer in your life! Talk about CUSTOM clubs. What an experience to have!
