About Me

I’ve been a fan of art and interior design since I was a kid, but it was only after a ten-year first career as a registered nurse that I realized I could turn my passion into a business. Co-founding and co-owning Velocity Art and Design with my husband and partner in crime, John, has been a dream come true and a constant creative challenge. I’m most excited about our latest product, collaboration with a talented local architect to create the Modern Playshed, a prefab playhouse for kids. I’m a little obsessed with modern design for kids these days, since we’re expecting our first baby in July.
