I am Los Angeles’ leading expert on organic food and living. I do not just write about this lifestyle, I live it. As a corporate, power driven career seeker I never dreamed of taking up an organic and green lifestyle until I uncovered the true virtues of tasty organic food and products. It all started when I went to professional culinary school at the New School of Cooking in Culver City, California. This is where I learned the truth behind conventional and organically grown produce and meats. It is here that I became obsessed with finding the tastiest ingredients that produced the most flavorful food product. What I discovered is the best tasting foodstuff always came from sources that had one thing in common: they were organic. I also discovered this too was the secret ingredient in America’s high end restaurants and Europe’s everyday delicacies.

As I threw myself into the tasty delights of organic foods it began to spill over into the rest of my life as I began converting my home and personal products to organic and green products.

I am a regular at LA’s famed Santa Monica Farmers’ Market and have numerous relationships with local organic farmers and producers. Those relationships spawned my Organic Farmers Market Report that informs my readers of what’s in season and how to buy it. My focus on seasonal, organic food allows my readers to experience the tastiest flavors of seasonal organic foods in combination with my tasty organic recipes published on OrganicAuthority.com.

I blow through many myths that organic means “hippy,” “grungy,” “expensive,” “low quality,” etc and instead teach my readers how to affordably source tasty organic and natural foods and products on a budget. I also teach people how to keep their sense of style while making these small marginal shifts to a greener, organic lifestyle.

I reside in Los Angeles with my husband and two dogs, Bamboo (named after the world’s fastest growing renewable resource) and Truffle (named after my favorite savory mushroom). We have multiple organic gardens in our front and back yard and are in the midst of completing a sustainable and organic home renovation.

I am also a member of Slow Food movement and have also worked as a caterer and in multiple restaurants throughout my career as an organic foodie.

My knowledge of complete organic food and living has spawned the launch of workshops and teleseminars for women and families, on how to “Convert a Contaminated Conventional Home to a Clean Organic Home.” I am also working on a series of books on organic food and living.
