And I'm completing my third book, “The Essential Guide To Car Smarts," with St. Martin Press.

A member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) since 1982, I'm an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified technician. I inherited my love of all things automotive from my father who owned manufacturing business and many cars. I have been fixing, restoring and racing cars since the age of 10. I've been advising drivers for almost all my life.
