Description

You can see from the photos alone how rich and buttery soft the leather is. I love almost all of the designs. All are simple and classic with fabulous detail. Note to self: Next time in Paris... MUST visit boutique.

Not available in the US... but some items are listed on etsy.

larimeloom : Striped Tiered Skirt

First to recommend

Description

There is something about this skirt that makes me feel like I haven't a care in the world. Maybe I'll wear this on a lazy Southern California Sunday morning... or maybe to the beach... or maybe I'll wear this while I wander through the streets of Rome... or Madrid... or Athens.

One thing I know for sure? I'm having designer larimeloom make me one!

Honey West DVD : The Complete TV Series

First to recommend

Description

One of tv's first female detectives, Honey West aired only one season, from 1965 - 1966, and was produced by Aaron Spelling. Honey West, played by Anne Francis, is beautiful (natch), glamorous, smart, and deadly. She drives a kick ass Cobra and there's usually at least one fight scene per episode highlighting Honey's martial arts skills. Each episode is a different case, and the show is full of great 60s fashion and music, witty dialogue, and Bondesque technology.

This DVD collection gathers all 30 half-hour episodes together. Great fun!

Plus, c'mon. Anne Francis is way hot.

meganauman : Steel / Silver Chain Necklace

First to recommend

Description

I stumbled across this designer on etsy and found exactly what I was looking for! Made mostly of steel with random silver links, this necklace comes in three lengths- 18", 36" and 52". Each link measures 1/2" by 1". Each chain has an S-hook clasp and can be worn a number of different ways.

I contacted meganauman about making this is a slightly customized length, with a few extra silver links and S-hooks that I could use to hang charms and pendants from.

I plan on wearing this chain by itself and also with various steel and silver charms I have, including the brand new Bittersweets NY Heart / Dagger charm I commissioned!

meganauman seems to have a good selection of items on her etsy site at all times. She also has a separate web site and blog.

Bittersweets NY : Heart / Dagger Charm Necklace

Description

Love, love, LOVE this necklace! A realistic looking silver heart with a removeable gold or silver dagger piercing the heart. The dagger is attached to the heart by a fine gold or silver chain. Retails for about $400.

Although I love the necklace as it is.. being the picky sort I wanted to see about getting a customized version of this necklace just for moi. So I contacted Robin at Bittersweets and she was more than happy to make any changes I wanted. Awesome lady. End result? A blackened silver heart with a shiny silver dagger. Perfection!

I plan on wearing this with different chains or bracelets. I found an amazing designer on etsy and am recommending her as well!

Lolli by Reincarnation : Mudflap Handbag

First to recommend

Description

I have been wanting this bag for a while now and I think it just might be time to get it.

Some of my close friends live in NYC and go to a bar in the Lower East Side called Lucky Jack's. A lot. Like almost every night. I was visiting about a year and a half ago and took a walk around the block to clear my head a bit and stumbled across this designer's shop. Lolli by Reincarntion. The handbags caught my eye first, but they also have some pretty cool reworked vintage clothes and some amazing boots.

Lolli by Reincarnation's Mudflap bag is the one for me. You can wear this bag as a shoulder bag or messenger style. This uniquely designed bag with a zippable flap is made of soft, durable Italian leather. It has an outside zippered pocket for your cell phone or whatever and an inside pocket for your keys and lipstick or whatever. It comes in two sizes- both really roomy- and you can choose gold or silver hardware. There are also a plethora of leather colors... everything from black and three or four shades of brown to distressed pewter and distressed purple. You know that this is a bag you'll have and use for a lifetime!

Lolli has been featured in a number of fashion magazines, including Lucky, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, US Weekly, and People. Although they carry bags in their store and will sell them to people who are physically in their store, when you order one, you get one made just for you.

Lindemans Framboise : Raspberry Lambic Beer

First to recommend

Description

I tried this Belgian beer for the first time when I was in London almost ten years ago. According to Lindemans, long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and vegetables were used to season beers. The acidity of Lambic beers blends perfectly with raspberries.

Lindemans also has a few other flavors including Kriek (Cherry), Gueuze (sweeter more beer-like flavor), Cassis (Black Currant), Peche (Peach), and Pomme (Apple). Framboise is my personal favorite, but I have been known to keep some Kriek and Peche around the house.

The flavor is very tart and sweet. Although I certainly love drinking this by itself, I have found some new ways to mix it up. My favorite way to drink this is to mix it with a dark beer like Young's Double Chocolate Stout (chocolate and raspberries- how is that bad?) or Guinness.

Winner of a number of world championships, you can find this and other Lindemans beers for sale at Trader Joe's and some other nicer grocery and liquor stores. I have found it on tap at BJ's Brewery and The Yard House.
