Baby doll tops are always wonderful. They can hid some many sins. This leopard print halter top looks like it would flutter in a warm spring breeze. I like the baby doll cut and the ruffle-y edges. I've been intrigued by Japanese street fashion for several years, but it was only last Halloween when I was looking to make the perfect angel outfit my angels and demons Halloween party that I really was drawn into it. I ended up with a frothy confectionery of white that was an amazing angel costume. If you are daring, this gothic lolita dress would be awesome this year. It has black (always a good color) and animal print. Think of the possibilities!

I'm a relatively fair person, light skin with a multitude of freckles and brownish hair...I could never wear this dress. Doesn't stop my from loving it though. And on someone with dark hair like this model, or someone who has strong coloring (instead of the sort of monochromatic I have going on) this dress would be stunning. It hits just above the knee and is resplendent in a pink, black and white leopard print.

Leopard print ballet flats may be my favorite usage of leopard print in fashion. They make it easy for you to work the fun of the print into your wardrobe (well, if you have a wardrobe like mine they do) and they just inject a bit of life into daily dealings. This leopard ballet flat from stuart weitzman would look great with my dark jeans or my dark denim pencil skirt and probably some black shirt.

The snow leopard is sometime stuffed under the rug when it comes to the leopard print fashion. In my mind it's a shame. The gray, white and black colors of the snow leopard are always easy to match. A few years back Target was selling these leopard print vinyl shoes. They were cute but didn't last long (that vinyl scuffed!). These leopard and zebra print pony hair pumps look like they might (a) be less obnoxious and (b) be more sturdy--two big wins in my book.

As I write this there is a cute little puppy dog laid down on the wood floor next to me sleeping. As he's not allowed on the furniture, he currently has a rather unstylish (but functional) pet bed. I think it's a shame that people always seem to associate leopard print either with sultry or seventh grade--it has so much more potential. This pleated bib dress tips that definition on it's side. With it's high neck and tuxedo front it's a very feminine shirt that just happens to be made in a leopard print. Very spring and summer I think...plus It would look wicked over stovepipe jeans or leggings.

I didn't watch the Oscars this year, but at lunch today my friend and I were talking the former Oscar winner Gladiator, he was going on about the story but I was swept up in a fever for gladiator style sandals and toga inspired dresses. These brown leopard print thongs from Jimmy Choo are very wild with their print and tusk. Still, there is something that draws me to them and I think they'd be cute with a pair of jeans or maybe even capris (spring is coming after all!).
