Description

I've always kind of liked seafoam, especially when it's seafoam rendered in the form of a fluffy dress. This super short strapless dress is super cute with it's burned out stripes and bow like bodice. The horizontal stripes are more visible at first, but then when you take a closer look you see the vertical ones (which are my favorite ones).

I know it would make an expensive halloween costume, but my first thought when I look at this dress is spring fairy. This is not to say that I don't also like the dress as a dress in it's own right, that's just what first came to mind. The green is the color of new growth and it looks like the bodice is covered in tiny budding leaves.

This shift dress is perfect for summer! it works by itself, but I also think it would be super cute over capris. In fact I think I like it better over capris. And with it's light turquoise background and dragonflies coming up the middle like frog clips, it's perfect for a casual summer day.

If you haven't guessed it by now, I'll tell you. I have a huge nautical obsession--especially in the summer. When I saw this mini dress/tunic (I can't decide what it would be better as: a mini dress beach coverup or a tunic paired with white shorts or white capris) I was in love. Navy and white combined together, check. Big bow, check. Perfect for the summer, check!

Again, organic and green design warms my heart, because it appears to actually look fashioanble. Again, this is a dress I'd buy even if it wasn't organic. Seriously, look at it: big bow in the front, sleeves to keep you a bit more covered, this mini dress is absolutely adorable.

I think the 60s might be trying their turn at coming back. This printed blue summer dress certainly makes me think so. First off this dress takes a summer lagoon blue and then layers light and frothy shapes on top of it. It's a summer minidress that is very mod and very ready to be worn now.

I'm always on the fence about one shouldered items. They seem to look so good on models and yet, I'm never sure how they'll look on me. This dress though looks like it's a winner. It's blue is that wonderful dark turquoise blue that is slightly slimming and the pattern is interesting and not just another flower.

Oh my, I see this minidress and I want. I want it because it's hot pink and black. I want it because it melts the two together amazingly and I want it because the tuxedo ruffle is oddly appealing. Description

Ah, yellow. Yellow really is such a spring color and when highlight on this adorable little minidress as it melts from sunflower, to sunshine to butter you can't help but want to wear it. This Alice + Olivia dress is more than just ombre though, it's toped with rosettes across the top, lest you fade away with the gently melting colors.

Description

Though the animal print in this dress is sort of indistinct (is it a giraffe? is it a cheetah? is it a leopard?) I still enjoy it. It's a good solid minidress that looks like (with the right accessories) could be swung from a day outfit to night. It's rare I see black and brown together and smile, this dress is a surprising exception.

It's a Mrs. Roper caftan without the length! And somehow, being shorter it is rather fetching. A casual square cut neck is completed with the minidress's shortness to make something that if it was long would have been overwhelming and instead if something that would work great on vacation, neat a beach.

I think something about spring serves to bring us back to that childlike time of wonder and that childlike appreciation of colors. I never wear so bright and primary of colors as I do when it's the first blush of spring. Something like this Karen Zambos mini dress. It's bright and in primary colors (red and blue). But rather than looking like superman, it looks fun and festive (and like it should be colored in with crayons).

I'd love this dress over a pair of jeans that fight off spring's lingering chill.

I was such a geek in high school (still am now, but that's another story). This dress reminds me of a greek chiton. Just like I used to wear to the annual classics banquet (yes, as in latin and greek). From it's very unstructured feel to the ribbon wrapping around the middle, this short little mini dress looks like it's built for a greek goddess. Perhaps Demeter with all the abundance?

Color variations shouldn't be that interesting, you know? Except, except there is something utterly and completely fascinating about this dress. I like the subtle shift of the blue (and my, isn't blue just THE color of the season is seems) and, of course, the sparkle. Some how I feel I like I could slip on this dress curl and pouf my hair to the sky, throw on some bangles and be ready to go.

Hello Turquoise! The model in this picture is wearing this as a dress, it's a little bit short for my taste as a dress. But I'm thinking as shirt it would be perfect! Maybe casual it up with some skinny jeans, and a headband. Or summer it up with a pair of shorts. Or, if you are brave it could be done as a dress. This ruched silk dress from Fendi is absolutely fantastic no matter what way your remix it.

Happy with your legs? This purple mini dress will hide those arms and show off the legs and back. I like it because although nice enough for going out, it's really better in a more casual setting. Plus I have like purple. It, unlike another color of this season, mustard yellow, looks good on me.
