Clé de Peau Extra Silky Lipstick

Description

I'm a bit of texture junky. If something is soft I want it baby soft. If something is smooth, I want it to be silky soft smooth. This lipstick is smooth. It glides on and it isn't super light (I'd almost be tempted to call it gloss strength). (via FashionKitty)

Ooh, I'm all about convenient and this paint stick is neat and tidy. I love OPI nailpolish, it lasts forever. In a handful of useful color this nail stick is awesome for sneaking in your purse to save your nails when they chip...because mine at least always chip. (via FashionKitty)

MISSEY BOW RED LEATHER

These are totally cute. I love the mid height heel (comfortable enough to wear around all day), the bow (jazzing up an otherwise basic shoe without being overwhelming) and the whole shoe package. Even better I can see the shoes either being useful for the office, a fifties inspired outfit or just when I'm feeling playful.

My birthday party was last night and my friends got me the best gift ever. A KitchenAid stand mixer. I'm in serious love with KitchenAid stand mixers. This is my new purse. Except it's pink. But the design is the same. I love it. It holds a decent amount (it's been holding my knitting and some papers and everything I need including a lunch last week). It's cute and has those little details that always hook me (the red twist, the gold rings, etc.). Plus it's just a fun springtime purse!

Description

When I was a little girl I begged my mother for a polaroid camera. I liked the sound it made when taking a picture. Since then I've had a soft spot for polaroids. This picture is a giant polariod! It's a little under 11x14 and is bright and perfectly pretty and ready to hang. The subject matter itself is a close up of a mundane item (in this case a ice cream truck) made new by the abstraction of it.

When I was little my dad had a rubiks cube in his office. My five year old self had the hardest time getting it complete and usually failed miserably. This Hello Kitty rubiks cube holds all the fun of a rubiks cube, but makes it a bit easier as there are pictures to let you known if you are close to a proper configuration.

When I saw a cute little candy tin decoration with these frothy confectionaries I thought they were adorable. Then I found them. These are meant to be glued to the back of your cell phone...I like my cell phone still to be phone shaped so I see these charms as a perfect craft item.

Ooh! This looks ever so useful. I just committed to law school, which means I'll be living in a library for the next three years. What better way to have everything you need at your fingertips than to have this adorable little bento lunch box! I love the pink, red and orange version--it's just amazing! I can store mid morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner all in one place. I'll never have to leave the law school building.

So, I was poking around on Etsy looking for a gif for my mother's birthday when I got distracted by something shiny. (Don't worry I wasn't of thinking of getting this for her.) This bustier is amazing! With red stripes, an alice in wonderland print, heart buton and black ruffles it's definitiely a one of a kind piece. I'm thinking with a pair of jeans, or maybe a denim skirt.

Description

Most of my nice scarfs are silk. If not silk there are some silk/cashmere blends and then a handful of nice knit winter scarves. Right now I own one cotton scarf. Looking back I really should own more. My cotton scarf has doubled as a shirt, as head covering, as a belt and many other things. This Pucci cottong scarf would be a good next cottom scarf for me to get and with it's oh so 70s print, nicely in style too.

When I was younger I read the trashiest books every. One took place in the 70s and was supposed to be about the pinnacle of success and luxury. The name Pucci was used a lot. Even though, as a little girl, I hadn't seen any Pucci I already associated it with success. As an older girl (woman) now, I know that Pucci does have a certain charm to it. Charm like this large silk scarf that could be used for just about anything.

Most of the maxi dresses I've seen this season have either been strapless or cut very low with a deep v. This maxi dress has a mandarin collar and it has me intrigued. I like the vibrant red pattern and the seemingly more put together look I could see with this dress. Yes, it's a maxi dress...but it's also a far different look than many others out there now.

Normally a skirt on a bathing suit means you have something to hide. But for this bathing suit, I'd gladly wear the skirt...it's part of the whole ensemble. This pink gingham bikini is definitely cute. From the ruffles and ribbon to pink and white check and cherries, it's a suit that emphasized that you are a girl and aren't scared of that.

Description

This dress screams summer to me, but then I've always had a thing for polka dots. It's actually a dress et with a skirt and corset top, but I love how it looks as a dress. From the lacy tiers and frills to the ribbon and sheer boldness of the red polka dot, it fantastic. There is also a baby pink and baby blue version if that's more your speed, but I've never been scared away by red.

There are times sequins are okay, mainly they are constrained to functions that could be considered a social function while in school, but if you have one of those to go to (sorority function anyone?) then this dress would serve you well. One of the things I find fascinating about dip dyed items is that they resemble so many things, gradiating blues might look like a water fall and gradiating reds and oranges like this dip dyed summer dress look like a sunrise. Bright fall color, check. Fall brown, check. Skirt that looks like it's ready for fall, check. It might be spring now, but I'm already looking forward to fall (it's my favorite season after all) and this skirt is just one of the many reasons.
