With Oprah's seal of approval this lip gloss...excuse me...glace has me all sort of interested. I like lipstick, but I also like layering gloss on top of lipstick, or on causal days just slipping on a gloss instead of a heavy stick. This lip glace look wonderful and perfect for summer! I used to be (and still am to some extent) an expensive makeup kind of girl. But sometimes the cheap stuff is just as good, if not better. This mousse blush has been getting rave reviews for brightening skin and being overall awesome. I've like some of the other rimmel products I've used, so I think next time I'm at my local target I'll pick this up too. (via FashionKitty)

I love the shiny. I love the shimmery. I love that whole glitter for grownups without being tacky (because glitter always was tacky, and shimmer was always the better alternative). Apparently this eyeshadow is supposed to be the most shimmery in the land, and given the source (Oprah), I think I believe it. I might have to hunt some down. (via FashionKitty)

I'm in love with these boots! They meet all my boot requirements. They go up to the calf, are black, are leather, are laced, are heeled and have fun details. Look at that custom heel. Look at the decorations near the top. These boots are amazing, amazing, amazing and I am in MAJOR love!

I love the wedge and I love how every summer the wedge is there (thank you fashionistas!). Because the wedge makes sure that you have a bit more stablity when you are at picnic, on the beach, or just out for a stroll. So, I know this is horrible to admit, but this dress reminds me of something a character would wear in a Final Fantasy game. I mean this as a compliment. love this sequined ombre dress that moves between blue and yellow without comprising in green. It's a simple enough cut, but with as much that is going on in the color changes it carries well.

I'm a pink girl. I love pink in all of it's forms. And this dress which celebrates all that is pink from the subtlest blush of baby pink at the bottom all the way up to the dark deep intriguing pink at the top is amazing. Add to fabric I'm already in love with a smattering of sequins and simple yet elegant cut and you have a dress I'm slight infatuated with.

I've always wanted to show up somewhere in a party dress that is totally above the dress code. These shoes are so over the top, so insane that I love them. At first glance they are standard black peep toe sling backs, but then you see the little flecks of gold and then you see the pouf--that glitter and tulle bow. The first memory I have of my stepmother is a movie she took me to...it was Hocus Pocus. I know I should have been scared, but my only thought was those shoes are awesome! Black slides like this are indispensable to my summer wardrobe. The last pair I had the dog chewed up, but I have better hope for this next pair. After all one doesn't let a dog chew up Cole Haans. With their solid wedge and shiny patent criss crossing straps these shoes provide the extra stability needed to tromp around on the spring ground.

I still remember the women working out in the Music Man, "one grecian urn, two grecian urns". This dress reminds me of something that should be on a grecian urn. It's long and flowing like something out of antiquity and yet with it's shiny grey material it's gives it a modern twist.

I'm not a David Lynch fan, this is not to say that I haven't watched far too many David Lynch films. This nightgown and capelet set makes me think of what the crazy girl in Blue Velvet wore. The sheer capelet is a far degree less warm than the other more solid capelets, but it is none the less pretty, sheer and a great deal more beautiful.

Oh Jimmy Choo, I love you. No matter what the year is, no matter what the fashion is, no matter what I always, always, always love the shoes that you make. They work for everything from casual to work. These shoes fall on the business side of the world and oh, how much better they make the business world. I love the comfortable height heel (a mere 80mm) and the basic black nature that has been spiced up by the styling on the front of the pointy toe.

What is it about large handbags that make them so appealing? Is it the ease with which they fit our life into them? Is it the almost dwarfing air about them?
