The "Liz" in Fizzy Lizzy!

I am the owner of Fizzy Lizzy, which people tend to think is much bigger than it is! I got into the drinks business almost by accident. I´ve always mixed jiuce and seltzer and thought it was ridiculous that you couldn´t find it in stores. When I´m not working I´m playing tennis or bike riding. I´m also a voracious reader and I love to cook, although these days my husband cooks mostly. I also like to take long walks and discover new neighborhoods and I love to sing. I was once actually in a corny little chorus at the Y that sang show tunes!

In my industry, I think that low sugar is going to be to the ´00s what low fat was to the ´90s.

Car you’d like to own?

Pure fantasy? A Jaguar XJ6. I think they´re just beautiful!

Big step you’d like to make?

To have Fizzy Lizzy become a household name

Fad that will fade?

I thik that Yoga has peaked. I´m not saying it´s going to go away, but it´s become such a fad. I wouldn´t be surprised if some new form of it comes along.

Vacation you’ll take?

Two weeks in Vancouver. We´re doing a house swap through homelink.org.

Thing you’re going to fight for?

To educate people about the health benefits of juice blended with seltzer as opposed to straight juice. 100% juice is often full of sugar and is poar of the reason we have an obesity epidemic in this country.

Life you’ll lead?

I think I would be an incredibly boring anal retentive accountant. I am so anal retentive by nature...I think being an accountant would be an orgasmic experience!

Fountain of youth?

Drinkable plain yogurt.

Thing that will change the world?

A way for us to guzzle less gas or make cars more fuel efficient. We need to become less reliant on oil.
