My name is Liz Oakes, and I had my first taste of Triathlon in 1995 while I was coaching a summer league swim team. In addition to my full time job as Art Director for an international investment banking firm, I’m also Co-Managing Director for the largest multi-sport club in North America, the LA Tri Club. I love Triathlon because it keeps me fit, I’m addicted to the adrenaline I feel when crossing finish lines and the people I’ve met who surround the sport are top-notch wonders. Keeping balanced between the full-time job and my interests in the sport is sometimes a challenge, but one I enjoy working at.
