Lemon Drop Mixer | Stirrings

Description
Yum! I'll kill for anything citrus. Look at some of my past recommendations and you'll find proof of this obsession.
So, imagine my surprise when I saw Stirrings' Lemon Drop! Sweet yet tart and oh so delicious.
So get on the phone, call up some friends, get out that bottle of Stirrings and introduce it to that lonely bottle of Vodka that's been trapped in the freezer. Its time for an impromptu party!
Wait... did I mention its all natural? Yeah, it is. Call some more friends!

Charles & Marie Pen Clip
First to recommend
Description
I so truly love my Moleskine notebooks - I cherish their form and all the content I pour into them! They are totally indispensable. They do have a small flaw - their compact and trim form does not allow attachment of any writing implements. I've cheated a few times and stuck an ultra thin pen between the spine and cover but its not a perfect solution.
As usual, someone clever enough steps in to save the day.
These pen clips will work on more than just your sweet Moleskine but perform an important task: They provide a simple, clean and elegant way to attach a pen (or pencil if you wish) to the outside of your notebook. Just slip it in between the spine and cover and you're set.

Fancy Footwork by Chromeo

Description
Though I was allegedly a child of the 80s, I never got to enjoy it at its full glory. Listening to Chromeo makes me think I can do it all over again, but in a more modern way.
Bonafide Lovin sends me right back to big hair and overlapping neon colored geometric shapes. Ahh, memories.

Panamericana: Federico Aubele: Music
First to recommend
Description
I suppose that if you don't listen to much radio, stay away from friends who know about music and shield yourself from culture in your spider hole, you probably wont know about Federico Aubele. However, if you do keep your ears open, you probably heard his sultry sounds resonate in your ear and soul.
My first experience with Federico was when a friend played a track. "This sounds good" I thought. Then I heard more on NPR. "Wow, his other stuff is great!"
So, now I'm hooked. You can be too. Give it a spin / click.

Deltron 3030
First to recommend
Description
Just seconds into the first track you will find yourself thinking 'I know this guy, but from where?"
The truth is that Deltron 3030 goes by many names. Sometimes he is Deltron. Other times he is Russel from the Gorillaz. Other times still, he is Del tha Funkee Homosapien.
No matter what you call him, you cannot deny his musical sense. His beats are superb, if not simple and pure. His lyrics are smart, carefully planned and well executed. No mindless hip-hop here.
If you happen to be among the legions of people who think that rap has lost its soul... check out Deltron 3030.

Booming Back at You: Junkie XL

Description
I love it when a friend comes at me with a music recommendation out of nowhere. Junkie XL? Whats that?
Apparently, I'm a little out of the loop sometimes. If you take the time (and I suggest you do) to listen to the whole album, you will find yourself immersed in a fun world of beats / electronica. Serious and fun sometimes come together in the songs.
When I'm moving a little too slow, I put on a little of this and things pick up really fast.

The Cool By Lupe Fiasco

Description
Lupe sounds fresh and yet he gives off a vibe as if he's been around for a long time. Putting this album on is at the same time like exploring something new and listening to a classic.
Either way, Lupe put together a great album that speaks volumes

Sincerely, Fido Greeting Cards
First to recommend
Description
When I arrive at a party, I am very likely to acknowledge the host briefly and proceed to spend the next half hour playing with their cat or dog. I just love animals. In the U.S. we really love our pets and spoil the rotten. My boys get nothing but the best - Sometimes I imagine that I would be eating bologna sandwiches during hard times while they still get premium cat food.
This is why I love Sincerely, Fido - a great place for greeting cards for and from pets. The designs range from kill-me-cute to quite high brow. I noticed that the cards are designed by a variety of graphic designers, so variety is no problem.
Its really a great way to celebrate your pet and bring them into your life. Considering my usual recommendations, this is probably a little cheezy, but if loving my two cats is cheezy, so be it - I love them!
