One of the most surprising things about my first job out of college was that we had an official, company-wide gaming session on Friday afternoons (it was the CEO's idea!)
This is what we played. It's available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux. The game involves splitting up into teams to capture tar...moregets, vehicles, and to dominate the playing field. It's a great way to improve your reflexes and learn to play as a team.
"Third in the series... and now you can play with up to 24 players online. You can be one of four Nationalities of Allied soldiers as you race to liberate Paris... Hey a History Lesson wrapped in a Game? Awesome."
"Elebits is a fun little first person game where you wander around different environments looking for and capturing hidden Elebits. If your not fond of simulated violence, check it out. You can toss stuff around and make a holy mess of the place looking for these cute electrified little critters."
"Yeah, you're so good at Call of Duty.... You got tons of achievements.... and you beat the game on ultra-difficult, but I'm still calling you out you wuss.
Strap on this gaming vest and you'll feel every hot round coming into your body as if it was a punch to the gut. After a few rounds hit your stomach, you might more careful charging that machine gun nest I've taken.
Now I have to get one..."
"UT3 is shipping! Unfortunately, the newest PC graphics card I have access to is about two years old. So I'm gonna have to slum it on the PS3. When the linux client comes out, though, I'm probably gonna have to invest a million dollars in the latest and greatest nvidia card. Sigh."
"I saw this game once, and had to have it.
Its increadable. The graphics (whatever system your on) are nothing short then INSANE.
Its fast paced,in your face shooting that doesnt stop. Give this to anyone, thats how fun it is.
(not for children)"
