Description
The iPhone version I have doesn't require the adapter, so all I needed was the sensor for my shoe, only $19 - lucky me. I also don't own or plan to own Nike running shoes, so I DIY-ed a spot inside the tongue for the sensor. Works wonderfully! Your run (and/or walk) history is stored, then downloaded each time you sync. Easy peasy.
I am planning to buy a tiny velcro pocket "thingy" so I can easily wear the sensor with different shoes.

Haven't actually tried this yet, but I'd be willing. Only a little over double the avg iPhone case cost (i.e.- Incase ~$30) WITH the capability of adding additional power/usage time to your iPhone. Might come in handy next time I'm at waiting my turn at the DMV...

Donate. If its in good condition and you just don't want to take it with you... don't throw it away, donate it. Of course, don't pass along crap, but for instance - I own a portable air conditioner that I purchased new at a super discount and there is not way I'm taking the size-of-a-70s-robot-and-just-as-heavy air conditioner with me. It works and I only used it for a season - someone will certainly appreciate it and give it a good home. If you so desire, you can even take the receipt for the tax write-off.
