Chef Monika, is the owner/instructor of Hipcooks, a LA-based cooking school that puts the hip back into cooking! Monika espouses stress-free cooking, encouraging her students to toss aside measuring cup and to get liberated from the confines of the recipe. She realizes that we don't all have large kitchens with all the fancy culinary tools from France at our fingertips. In less than three hours, she teaches her students how to chop easily, how to combine foods, why sea salt is better for you, how a good knife and chopping board can change your life and, mist importantly, to never be afraid of winging it without a recipe.
