Everyone has a different opinion on Michael Jackson. Some people will vouch in favor of his singing style, sense of style, and his innoncence. Other people... not so much. But I think there's one thing everyone can agree on: Michael Jackson looks great on a t-shirt. Especially when he's drawn by Better Bacon's own artist Tanesa Tarvin. Better Bacon is an organization that lets developmentally challenged artists express themselves through creative outlets. I love the company, I love the artist, I love the shirt, and I think I'm even starting to like Michael Jackson a little better.

Description

The GAP was once the store to shop at. A few decades later and the GAP isn't quite the epitomy of style it used to be. However, something tells me that the GAP has been slowly getting it's groove back, featuring collaborations with artists, like Kenny Scharff. This adorable scoop neck tee features pictures of children, musical instruments, text and Chinese (I believe) lettering. Over-all it makes for a nice looking print far away and upon close examination (if it comes to that :D)

A t-shirt's a t-shirt's a t-shirt, right? Well, maybe not. This cute t-shirt not only features a very original pattern of crowns, fleur-de-lis and other images, but also has cool holes that form a skull from far away. I guess its the t-shirt version of the mullet (business in the front etc. etc.) only, you know, not outdated, hideous and all-together frightening. Skulls hold no candles to mulletts when it comes to scary.

I love shiny. It's great in so many ways. I mean, think gold, sparkles, sequins and disco balls. Is there anything not fun about any of those items? They promote happiness, attention and in some cases, bad dancing. However, when it comes to clothing, shiny can often make a perfectly normal person look like the victim of an 80s horror movie. This is why I'm recommending these leggings. They have a shiny, leather look that is sure to be noticed, ut, when paired with a matte skirt or dress the whole effect is played down (but still desirable). This way the shiny trend-du-jour does not also contribute to the making of a hundreds of fashion victims.

Pink Floyd Fighter Pilots - Ladies Tank Top

What's this? It appears to be a t-shirt supporting the band Pink Floyd, but I'm still not convinced... It's not over-sized, it's 100% cotton and it's not a cheap two-dye design. In fact, it's a tank top and not a t-shirt at all, it's a tank top (yeah, I know, 'thanks captain obvious'). Dare I say that this band t-shirt is actually, wearable? Yes, making quality, wearable band t-shirts is Trunk Ltd.'s business. And they do a darn good job of it too. Unofrtunately, the price tage is about as bad as any vintage band t-shirt.

Wayfarers certainly are making their way back into style this spring, having appeared not only in UV protective old school cool-looking glasses form but also on bags, hats, shirts, and, like this axample from cardboard robot, necklaces! This is the secong Wayfarer-inspired necklace I've seen (but I'm sure there are more, because this is SUCH a great idea) and I am totally loving these innovative creations! This particular necklace is silver, and has a "sculpted" (because I am not sure of the right word) back as well as the front.

I have been craving one of these ever since I first saw them! hurley has made a line of sweaters that you can zip completely apart and attach to another Hurley sweater! Giving it a sewn-together effect. Better yet, some of these sweaters are reversible, so you get more bang for your buck! The website says you can swap sides with your friends, but I would want to be keeping this baby to myself! (via Hurley)

I love t-shirts. I mean, what's not to love: the insane variety of neck cuts, styles, the fact that they are the most basic way for an artist to break into fashion or the fact that they look good on almost everyone? Perhaps its the fact that they can be shirts, or dresses, casual or proffessional, or maybe its the fact that you can make a noticable statement for next to nothing. Well whatever your beef is with these staples of leisure wear, maybe this list tees picked by yours truely can change your mind.
