SIGG Bottles for Kids

First to recommend

Description

This is the ONLY truly leakproof bottle I have ever found for my kids. It wins on all fronts versus the many bottles I've bought from baby stores except a couple: it is pricey, its metal exterior is cold on the hands for cold drinks, and it is a bit tougher for young kids to use. The price covers itself when you realize how long the thing lasts and how useful it is. The cold on the hands part can be solved by buying the accessory handle. (via Moosejaw)

Converse Jack Purcell Ox Plaid

Description

These are my second pair of Purcells. My first were "design-your-own" from the converse site. Both pairs feel great and are a nice complement to my chuck collection (I'm reluctant to say it, but they are more comofortable that my chucks on a long day). The Purcells are a bit more substantial than chucks and are a nice alternative to have in the closet.

PUMA Evisu Jeans

First to recommend

Description

Sweet jeans, (amazingly) worth the $160. I got the tattoo black and was able to get them long enough to roll, even though I'm 6'3". The fabric is rigid with a slick mod sheen (not seen in the blue washes). There are a couple construction details that I'm not totally stoked about, but I'm oddly particular about that kind of thing. I have never seen anyone else rocking these jeans, which is fun...you feel like the cool kid on the block.
P.I.T.A. to link to Puma online store (sorry if you get to some weird page).

Lemonade: G. Love: Music

SOLID! Yet another G Love album I can listen to (almost) end-to-end. He's best when collaborating and this album has a nice dose of guests. A couple solos are a bit bland, but you gotta give a guy like G Love some room to do his thing. I like the blend of blues inspiration with rock and rap...the sound is an ideal background for reminiscing about chilling with your peeps, a rough ride on the love train, or a rant about the world. If you haven't tried G Love, not a bad place to start (but be sure to look up his originals too...parts of those are even stronger).

I thought it was a joke when a buddy first told me, but this stuff is great for keeping your nether-regions fresh (and itch-free should you be an aggressive groomer). Also great on feet in the morning to keep them smelling sweet (I can even go barefoot in my Chucks).

GoFit Stability Ball

First to recommend

Description

I have the 75 cm version of this stability ball in charcoal. I use it for my office chair and get a very subtle core workout everyday simply by sitting on my tookus (something I am quite good at). This has helped my posture and reduced lower back pain I've had for years. Thankfully the color is subdued...I get plenty of ribbing for bouncing while I work (I love the irony when those who ridicule me stand up from their Aeron chairs and stretch their backs and go "uuuuuuuggggggggh.")

Operation Ivy (Energy)

You likely the punk rock? Then you best be havin' this classic compilation in your collection. OK, so its not the Ramones and its not the Sex Pistols. But, if you like ANY of the California "light punk" of today (even if you secretly listen to your sister's Good Charlotte MP3's when she's at the mall shopping for PINK at Victoria's Secret), you owe it to yourself to pony up and get the real deal.
Garage quality, incomprehensible lyrics, and arguably the best bad bassist in the history of punk...how can you go wrong.
My go-to CD when I'm angry at the world and/or the state of radio today.

Pioneer TS-A1671R 6-1/2'' 3-way car speakers For 6-1/2'' and 6-3/4'' openings

Description

Dude. These are slick sounding speakers for the budget-conscious wannabe audiophile (yes, he is me). I used a sony head unit with my factory speaker wires and tossed in 4 of these 3-way speakers. My car was bumpin enough that I felt like a pimp...OK I am a bit of a pimp (in my dreams). Some audio expert once told me that it isn't worth wasting a ton of money on car stereo equipment since your car's interior shape is not well-suited to deliver high quality sound. Instead, he told me to invest in high end home audio. These are the perfect speakers to take advantage of "some audio expert's" advice.
