Y water

First to recommend

6 people recommended this item

Description

Once I'm getting over the "organic" tag on the YWATER website (how do you make organic water?!?) I'm absolutely getting some bottles just because of their shapes, and the special connectors that transforms them into a construction toy.

the Y bottle, which was designed by Yves Behar comes in 4 flavors, for brain, muscle, bone, and the immune system. (via notcot)

The Roddler

First to recommend

3 people recommended this item

Description

The Roddler by Kid Kustoms, is one of those crazy concepts that could really only be imagined in LA. Created by Jamie Coblentz, Jason Albert and Joe Iacono, The Roddler is equal part custom hot rod and baby stroller.

Kid Kustoms will even create custom fins to match your favorite vintage wheels, be them 50's Buicks, Cadillac, Oldsmobile, pearl paints with pinstripes, and of course, custom leather seats in stingray, ostrich, alligator, cow hide and alcantra...

And if you think that's not crazy enough, the Roddler can be equipped with a DVD player and iPod connection, just in case you thought that it wasn't pimped out enough. With the basic model starting at $2500 USD, I don't even want to know what a totally pimped out model would cost. (via oO's very eclectic)

Rum, Whisky & Candles

Description

Available in Malt Whisky, Rum Agricole, Pastis de Marseille and Cuba Libre, these fragrances aren't your traditional Ginger and Jasmine candles. These might end up making my house smell like I've spent the evening boozing, but I'm hoping lighting them up would have a more subtle effect. (via oO's very eclectic)

This Table Will Self-Destruct

Description

I can't think of a better name for this coffee/side table from Studio 1am. Every time someone purchases This Table Will Self-Destruct, the limited edition table is constructed with a pixel missing, slowly eating itself until it's no longer usable. (via oO's very eclectic)

Silicone Travel Bottle

Description

Couldn't resist buying the Silicone Travel Bottle from New-York based designer Paul Koh. The translucent soft silicone makes it easy to fill with liquids, gels or creams, and the 2.0 ounces size complies with the ridiculous TSA carry-on rules. (via oO's very eclectic)

The Tap Project

First to recommend

Description

Why do we prefer bottled water over tap? Tap has an image problem, and The Tap Project in New York is an attempt to solve that.
In some NY restaurant, you could buy tap water in this elegant bottle, with all proceeds going to the UNICEF fund to help children get better access to potable water all around the world.

Oh How Beautiful You Are

Description

"Oh How Beautiful (You Are) is a regular, square mirror, except for the hyperbolic, relentless, and infinitely inventive compliments that cover it. Perfect for that first look at yourself in the morning."

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Buddha Buddha Bank

Description

I saw the Buddha Buddha bank in a little store in the Castro district in San Francisco, and I barely resisted buying one of each of the five different models. I couldn't tell what kind of plastic they use, but the banks are surprisingly heavy, even empty. (via oO's very eclectic)

Manoi AT01 Robot

First to recommend

Description

I found the Manoi AT01 robot a while ago, but this is the first US based company that I found that sells it. If there is a robot that is directly inspired by Astroboy, this is the one. This is probably the most likely replacement for the dead Sony QRIO.
