Instead of going through the trouble of writing "remember other office keys" on a piece of paper and attaching it to the door - after searching for a piece of paper, a pen, and the tape - you would simply place the keys in this.

Description

ShotCodes are like barcodes, but 2D. If you download software to your camera phone, taking a picture of one will automagically take you to the URL encoded in it.

I just created two of these for my brother (one with the URL for his blog, and one for his contact information), and had buttons made with the ShotCode images on.
He's a student, so I can think of several ways they might come in handy. Remembering where he lives, geeking to fellow students, etc.

Update: the software is available for most phones, apart from my P990i of course *mumble*.

Oooh! *squealing with delight* I had forgotten about these! Or, to tell the truth, I probably bookmarked them somewhere long ago and never went back.

It appears a handful of 'crafty' people also love them enough to create their own copies (?). I've found a few articles in local Swedish papers referring to local artists who do these - always in tone of voice indicating that they're being amazingly inventive...

In any case - cudos to whoever came up with these. They're fantastic!

Mmmmm... Admittedly it was the pretty box that caused the purchase in the first place, but god damn is this niiiice beer! I'm currently enjoying the Limited Edition IPA 2006, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny/cent/krona...whatever. It's got a sweet malty taste that I can only describe as figgy, perfectly blended with an underlying dark malty note. (The brewery insists that it's citrus, vanilla and oak however, but what do they know!)

A different sort of tripod. Makes it possible to attacha a camera to "just about anything- anywhere and everywhere". It looks like they've also also just released a PRO-version for SLRs/heavier cameras that supports up to 3 kilos. Not a moment to late given the success of the original version!
Don't miss the product-animation (and the gallery) on the manufacturer's website - a perfect example of how to display products online.

It's amazing how much easier it is to keep a document standing up using one of these, instead of trying to keep it in place using a hole punch and two heavy books... (I really wish they were my idea!)
