Benefit Cosmetics Get Bent Mascara

First to recommend

Description

Benefit’s Get Bent Mascara does it all: lifts, curls, lengthens and separates. It’s kind of like a push-up bra for your lashes. The angled brush helps you increase lash volume root to tip, while the tapered end helps you achieve that winged look. The deep black color makes eyes pop and the formula enhances the natural curve of your lashes making your eyes look even bigger. On top of that, it lasts all day. (via SheFindsSuzelle)

BCBGirls 'Leanna' Jersey Dress

First to recommend

Description

Color is the watchword for summer, but I have pale skin with olive undertones, and let me tell you, all those pink and yellow dresses look adorable on the hanger… not so much on me.

That’s why I’m so grateful that this summer also has a rainbow of grays to choose from; there’s a shade of gray to flatter every skin tone, even mine. The trick is to find a quality material and a standout cut—whether a form-fitting sheath that makes you look like Marilyn or an edgy design of which Gwen Stefani would approve. This BCBGirls ‘Leanna’ Jersey Dressicon is dark enough to set off my skin without making me sallow, while the low-cut blouson top means I’ll still stand out in a sea of color. Daily Care Balancing Conditioner

First to recommend

Description

With a mom who has been visiting hair salons since before I was born, I was destined to be a bit of a hair product snob. Don’t get me wrong, I have Head & Shoulders in my shower as I type, but over the years, I’ve definitely noticed a clear difference between the quality of pharmacy shampoos and salon shampoos. One such high quality brand that I’ve used through the years is called “JOICO.” I love JOICO hair products because they are lightweight, leave my hair silky soft and super shiny, and have the best scent.

Now, while my mom used to have to make extra trips to the salon to pick up a fresh bottle when she was running low, I can easily purchase a new conditioner with a few clicks of my mouse. If I’ve piqued your interest, then I recommend heading over and checking out my fave Joico product— the Daily Care Balancing Conditioner—to keep your hair in prime condition this summer. Band-Aid Active Flex Blister Block Stick

4 people recommended this item

Description

All my friends know that my shoe collection is massive and that I’ll stop at nothing to wear my most towering heels regardless of the occasion. The bad part is, they also know that I’m notorious for complaining about how uncomfortable I am as soon as my feet start to blister. Thanks to my lovely genes, that usually happens within the first half hour of wearing anything (flats included).

Enter Band-Aid Active Flex Blister Block Stick. For the first time ever, I’m able to wear even my cutest shoes—no matter how new, tall or painful they might be—without an ounce of pain. Give me heat, give me friction, give me four-inch stilettos and a day of shopping on Fifth Avenue, and I’m still complaint-free. I never leave home without this pocket-sized stick. Swipe it on at a moment’s notice for instant satisfaction. Never slippery, it simply creates a barrier of protection between the potential blister and the shoe so you can walk, dance and flit your way through spring and summer pain-free. (via SheFindsTara)

Derek Jeter Driven Skincare

First to recommend

Description

Derek Jeter is expanding his presence in the grooming industry. His fist hit, the fragrance Driven, is now the basis for a three-part skin care regimen that is meant to be complete, yet easy for the average Joe to understand. It consists of a Shave Gel, Oil Control Face Wash, Foaming Face Scrub and an SPF 15 Moisturizer.

First of all, these grooming products are high quality and inexpensive, so you don’t have to rationalize spending money on grooming. Second, it’s simplly good for your skin. Buy the set of four products and you have all your bases covered without having to debate over which products you need or not. Third, you’ll smell good—and like a guy instead of your girlfriend’s beauty products. (via SheFindsTara)

Sisley Women's Watch

First to recommend

Description

It’s finally warm enough for you to shed your scarves, mittens, heavy boots and winter coat. But don’t stop there; your leather-band winter watch shouldn’t be strapped to your wrist for the next four months. You need a watch that’s light, bright and ready for summer.

Enter this slinky, silver Sisley. The name isn’t so catchy (#7353111525? Paging the marketing department!), but the color certainly is--the pop of orange warms up the steel mesh rope on this bracelet-style watch. The striking design incorporates snakelike scales with chain-mail chic for a minimalist feel enhanced with exciting detail. This is one watch that will perk you up instead of weighing you down. Lash Control

First to recommend

Description

Every time I buy a new tube of mascara, I secretly cry a little (on the inside, of course), knowing that my last tube would still be half full if not for the constant tissue wipe-downs necessary to keep me from looking like a lady of the night. But no more, since the geniuses behind Lash Control mascara are apparently just as sick of banishing half their beauty booty to the trashcan as I am. They’ve created a patented tube that features a gel-filled “wiper sleeve” at its mouth. Just squeeze the bright pink wiper sleeve as you remove the wand–-hard if you want lightly darkened, separated lashes, or softer if you want more dramatic lashes-–and you get the exact amount of mascara you want. If Goldilocks was to test-drive mascara instead of slurp down porridge, she certainly would pick Lash Control as her go-to: neither too much nor too little, it’s just right. (via SheFindsErin)

You’re a busy woman, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t be a stylish one, too. Check out actress, mom and trendsetter Sarah Jessica Parker and her “Bettina" satchel. This roomy leather bag, in a soft gray (a perfect complement to this season’s neutrals), features a zippered pouch so you can carry everything you need and keep your hands free. So now you can grab the morning paper, take the kids to school or do some shopping (Manolo Blahnik, perhaps?) with your own celebrity style. (via SheFindsKathy)

Youngblood Pressed Eyeshadow Quads

First to recommend

Description

Much as I’d love to splurge on a new wardrobe with every season change, and every post fashion week trend alert, my budget doesn’t allow me to indulge this constant desire to reinvent myself. Instead of splurging on a pair of sexy stilettos I’ll only wear once, I’ve taken to buying myself some great new makeup each season, successfully satiating my new season need for something new without destroying my credit rating.

This spring, I’m brightening up my face with Youngblood Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quads. The names, Mermaid and Purple Majesty, may appeal to my childhood Disney aspirations (“I wanna be where the people are…”), but the look is totally grownup goddess. The shadows are highly pigmented and easy to blend, so the color really pops and complements your natural eye color.

Maybe if my eyeshadow is great enough, no one will notice that I’m wearing last season’s skinny jeans. (via SheFindsTasha)
