OK, I don't have a pair of these -- YET. Because at $250+ per pair, they're an investment. But if they work: allowing you to tone and strengthen the muscles in your legs just by going about your business, they could save me a fortune in gym membership fees. So I want 'em. I want 'em badly.

Nintendo DS

Description
A handheld gaming system on a list of weight loss aids? You're darn tootin'! Like lots of people, I have a problem with "night feeding" -- craving sweets and carbs late at night while watching TV. But a funny thing happened when I got my DS -- started playing games and doing puzzles during that late night danger zone... and with both my hands occupied, I broke myself of the night feeding habit. And I can take this baby with me anywhere I'm tempted to snack out of boredom.

Diabetic and Low Carb Chocolate
First to recommend
Description
It's chocolate sweetened with malitol, which means it can be tolerated by diabetics and low carb dieters (each candy bar is just 2g usable carbs) and just 170 calories (compared to 36g of carbs and 300 calories for a Hershey bar). It's a life saver for that time of month when you HAVE to have some chocolate (the ladies will know what I mean).

Sugar Free and Fat Free Dressings
First to recommend
Description
My diet program is not only low carb -- it's low cal and low fat, too. It's hard to find a good tasting salad dressing that satisfies all three requirements. Maple Grove Farms makes a balsamic vinaigrette and a raspberry vinaigrette that fit the bill. I use the former as a marinade for flank steak and the latter for chicken and my family doesn't know the difference! (This is the sweetest thing of all.)

Because (hard to believe though it is) I get tired of eating lettuce doused with vinegar.

I was looking for a good clock radio for my newly minted middle schooler and thought it woiuld be nice to find one that included a dock for her iPod. The first one I found was the iHome, and it was cool lookng -- but at $99, a lot more than I wanted to spend. So I kept looking and stumbled upon this model from Homedics. It turned out that my daughter liked its features even more, because it is also a sound machine and projection clock. And it costs $40 less than the iHome. So everybody wins!

Jo Malone | Pomegranate Noir
First to recommend
Description
I have lusted after the Jo Malone fragrance and skin care line since I first stumbled upon it in the cosmetics dept. at Harrod's. This stuff is insanely expensive, especially in the UK -- but after our last visit, I decided that I could *just* afford to buy the fragrance, if I stuck to the 1 oz. size.
So I got online (cheaper than buying overseas) and ordered myself a small bottle of the Lime Basil and Mandarin scent, which is fresh and citrusy and well suited to warm SoCal days. And I love it. But I get bored so easily...
...which is why I was intrigued when I got an email announcing their newest scent: Pomegranate Noir. It's richer -- darker -- and it complements the Lime Basil and Mandarin stuff I already have (one of Jo Malone's selling points is that you can create your own signature scent by mixing and matching pieces from the entire line -- so buying a second "flavor" essentially gives me THREE fragrances to choose from).
And they all smell divine.

What could be easier than pouring this foaming powder down the bowl and flushing? (OK, you may have to scrub just a little bit -- but just a little is not bad.)

No Jet Lag - Homeopathic Prevention for Jet Lag
First to recommend

Description
There's more to jet lag than tiredness and loss of sleep - my family and I used to suffer physical discomfort every time we took the 10-hour flight to visit my in-laws in the UK. This stuff really works! It reduces the travel tummy, disorientation and mental fuzziness from crossing all those time zones, and we bounce back lots quicker. We won't get on a plane without it.

Description
These clothes prove that you don't have to sacrifice fashion for comfort over a long, hot summer, nor do you have to deplete your wallet. They're very reasonably priced, especially when you consider that the color/design combinations are custom made for you.
