An ordinary girl with nothing to lose...

I'm a ordinary, somewhat dour British girl who acquired a taste for the so cal sunshine and thought "You know what? I think I'm gonna move to LA next week." And I did. While I plan to spend the next couple of years in LA, I'm probably gonna spend quite a bit of time in New York, London, Paris (and most excitingly, Africa!) over the next few months so i'll keep everyone on thisnext posted when I come across interesting little nick knacks that you don't find in your average midwestern mall. I'm a big fan of everything from the 1980s, an avid bargain hunter (seriously, I'm really cheap..) and a fan of anything that is hot pink, so if you like any of the above you should check out my recommendations

A 1978 Honda Accord.

To own my own business and pick my own hours (which will enable me to work as little as possible and travel/write/act as much as I want.

I'm glad that we're gradually waving goodbye to skinny jeans. They look awful on most people (esp on me).

Thing you’re going to fight for?

I will fight my roommate with my my bare hands if he throws my recycling in the trash again.

Secret that’s going to leak?

I don't know anything about anything. I swear.

Hollywood blockbuster going to be about?

Will probably be a remake of a hit movie from around 10 to 15 years ago to avoid taking a chance on a new script. They hope we won't notice...but I will....

Life you’ll lead?

A life full of travel, adventure, laughter and love (hopefully)

Fountain of youth?

I used to take regular baths in virgin's blood, but disposing of teenage corpses became a problem (I don't have a yard) I'm looking into doing something with sheep embryos instead.

Book you’ll read?

'Ten Days in the Hills" by Jane Smiley. It won awards so it must be good.

Thing that will change the world?

If people thought more about what really makes them happy and acted upon their discoveries. And if people cared less about what others thought of them.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

Veggie burritos and cheesy nachos mostly.

Person to whom you’ll say, “I love you”?

Umm...I'm British. We find it embarrassing to tell someone we love that we love them. I'm more likely to write "I LOVE YOU" in lipstick on your bathroom mirror than I am to tell you to your face. I'm creepy like that.
