A travel lifestylist bent on directing busy Cosmopolitan Travelers

Growing up the daughter of an airline employee, I never imagined that the life of planes, airports, and foreign locales that molded my youth would define my adult life. But after growing up to become a model-turned-writer/producer in Hollywood (films & TV), I found myself traveling more than ever: six months a year for work, plus weekend getaways and exotic vacations whenever possible. While on the road, I thought I was a travel pro, but I found myself longing for someone to make it all easier. I saw things missing in the travel world for my kind of traveler: the Cosmopolitan Traveler…and it became clear that I had another calling.

My mission now is to be a guide to the Cosmopolitan Traveler: the fashion-forward, information-overloaded, urban-living, adventure-seeking, professional, impoverished jetsetter who is always on the go, even when still at home. Travel today is about a lifestyle, not just two weeks’ vacation a year. My travel lifestyle brand, Compass, is about improving peoples’ lives when on that road of life—and doing so in an entertaining way, be it travel articles, tips, TV, merchandise, or just wandering about. I am inspired by the romantic travel lifestyle of the 1920’s and ‘30’s, when people dressed up, carried trunks, and used porters anytime they went anywhere—I want to bring that classic spirit back to our travel world, while combining that aura with the functionality of modern times.
