I love to be surrounded with beautiful objects. My fantasy job is to be a buyer for a store specializing in accessories for the home, so that I could stock the store with beautiful items. I maintain The Style Page (www.thestylepage.com) and a companion blog (thestylepage.blogspot.com), which cover fashion, beauty, design, and lifestyle. While the website functions as a directory, the blog provides editorial content.

I also work a 9-to-5 job totally unrelated to my blog.

I said that Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) would fade but I was wrong. BDS is a term coined by conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer, who is a psychiatrist by training and education, but it hasn't entered the manual of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. Over a year after Obama's election, many here and abroad still have BDS Alas, PDS (Palin Derangment Syndrome) has joined BDS as a kind of social hysteria.
