Description
This is a must have if you like foreign films like I do. I do a lot of travelling and sometimes the films you see in foreign countries are not available in region 1 dvd (USA and Canada) format thus this is a nice addition to your home entertainment needs.

An eclectic view of the world through the eyes of a cab driver. Night on Earth takes place over the course of one night in various spots around the world. Different cab drivers have diverse, hilarious, and enlightening experiences dealing with passengers. I saw this film when it first came out and it took forever for it to come out on dvd. I am glad it finally did.

Again, one of my older sister's really liked this film and on her recommendation, I have watched it. Its really good about family and sticking together. Also, there are two nice bonuses: you get to one of the early perfomances of Barbara Bel Geddes, thats Ms. Ellie from Dallas to you and me. Not to mention Ellen Corby she play the cantakerous grandma on The Waltons. (via Netflix)

This is a classic film done with care. I first saw this film when I was child with my family. Claudine is a period piece that deserves to be viewed. Diahn Carol and James Earl Jones give strong perfomances as two people trying to build a life together. The soundtrack which was done by Motown greats "Gladys Knight and the Pips" was played in our household many times. (via Amazon)
