I grew up in Chicagoland, but I've called the San Francisco Bay area home since mid-2000.
I have a background in creative writing, but work as an interaction/user interface designer (web).
I like being crafty, especially with paper (making envelopes!) and embroidery/cross-stitch, either on my own or in good company, and sometimes to sell.
I am drawn to all things Japanese, including aspects of traditional and pop culture.
I adore hamsters.
