I've never been too into that New Romantic stuff, but the "Marie Antoinette" soundtrack has totally sold me on Siouxsie & The Banshees, New Order, Bow Wow Wow, and all those other bands. I'm especially obsessed with "Natural's Not In It" by Gang of Four, which mostly has to do with Sofia Coppola's brilliant use of the song in the film's opening credits (the shot of Kirsten Dunst getting her toenails done and dragging her finger through the cake frosting = one of my favorite movie images ever). Tiphanie's art is very intricate, delicate and yet powerful at the same time. Her litographs sell for very reasonable prices (you will want them all over your walls) and anyone coming over to your place will take notice of them. Truly unique and beautiful.

I have known Helena for many years now through the Internet. At first, I was seduced by her amazing photographs of all things intimacy, and most recently her tiny dog Louise, but I was quick to discover that Helena had strong voice in writing as well. Her writings are evocative and honest and raw. They will kick you down to the ground and bring you back up again. Helena's first publication 'Violence' is a must have for anyone who wants a break from the mainstream chick-lit that has been taking over the world lately and wishes to read something real and powerful.

Description

I don't know how these work, but they do. Bike tire marks, shoe marks, pen marks, blood, whatever. Add a little water, and these things remove all kinds of marks and scuffs from painted walls. The first time you see them work, it's kind of like magic.

Spend 5 bucks and 15 minutes cleaning your walls during a move out and get all your security deposit back.
