City Living Fireplace

9 people recommended this item

Description

I thought these were pretty cool for some reason. Basically for $350 you get two stainless steel sticks attached to a slate base. When I look at this I think I am living in New York City, there's a fantastic view of the city outside my window, there's soft (but not wimpy!) jazz playing low in the background and there's some drop-dead Italian model draped over the easy chair. Now if I could get all of that for $350 I'd buy these. But as that price only gets you the steel sticks and the rock base, I guess I won't.

Robotic Sentry

Description

This robot lets you watch your home while you're away! You can access a feed of its video or stills via the internet connection on your phone or PDA. It's like having a webcam on wheels that you can move around by remote - and it's more affordable than setting up a security system in your home.
