ok, half the site is in japanese and the price is in yen, but this sounds beeyoutiful and useful and perfect if you serve this kind of bread, boules, poilane, etc.

i got one of these for my mother at a crafts' fair in NYC: it collapses to lie FLAT, amazing nesting of the wood. the hanlde folds down.

this is a perfect way to serve a warm baguette or a bottle of wine, beautiful to display on the table. the small size is good too.

been looking for this to get for myself ever since i saw it perhaps 10 years ago.

this site has other, slightly more "rustic" baskets. this one is a classic.
