this is the perfect all purpose chef's knife, good for both asian and western cuisine.

if you're not into showing off with your giant cleaver/ chef's knife and need ONE great knife, this [or the 7" size] is great. they are forged from one block of carbon steel & honed by hand and very sharp.

i bought mine a couple years ago and looooooove it.
