24 and still learning how to be a grown-up.....

NEW YEAR - NEW BIO :-)

I'm now 24 - and I'm still learning how to be a grown-up. I don't think I'll ever understand it - but I'm damn good at pretending. I guess being a grown-up = managing money. That being said, my lists this year will be a little less...how shall I say...."I'M FREAKING RICH"...and a little more "I'm on a budget." BUT I'm a big believer that you don't have to sacrifice style to stick to a budget. So don't worry - my picks will still be super bad-ass (and grown-up)..just like me.

I finally made it to California! I'm super pumped and I absolutely love it here. The move from Florida to Cali kind of screwed up my law school schedule and now I have to take a year off because of federal loan issues. It's ok, though. I'm working full-time at a firm. I'm not at the divorce firm anymore - now I do probate (planning people's wills, distributing assets to heirs when people die...it's quite morbid actually and I'm not sure if I like it too much). It's experience, though, and will only help me in the future. I'm still planning on working in divorce and family law :-)

I'm still a competitive perfectionist - and will still recommend the gnarliest stuff around (just a little cheaper this time).

Purchase you’ll make?

I REALLY want a Sony Digital Reader. I'm a big literary fan and that thing is so cool.

Trend in design?

CHEAP. Everyone is on a budget now. Low prices will definitely prevail over uber designer (which can be both good and bad).

Car you’d like to own?

Not sure - I've always been an SUV girl....sorry environment.

Big step you’d like to make?

The next tax bracket....finishing law school maybe??

Fad that will fade?

I pray every night that Miley Cyrus will go away.

Vacation you’ll take?

Hopefully Vegas :-) My most favorite place in the whole wide world.

A raise.

Zac Efron and Megan Fox are doin' it.....with each other! Oh to be invisible to be able witness that glorious event :-)

The time I used my invisibility super power to spy on Zac Efron and Megan Fox doin' it...with each other!

A super hero with the power of invisibility.

Fountain of youth?

Not being afraid to be yourself....for sure. After that - everything is cake.

Book you’ll read?

Well - I just bought this book called "501 Must Read Books" and I'm determined to read every one. So it looks like the first one on the list is "Little Women".......maybe I'll start with #2.

Thing that will change the world?

I didn't vote for him but he's bound to do something right.

Guilty-pleasure food in which you’ll indulge?

Liquor.

Person to whom you’ll say, “I love you”?

My gorgeous fiance :-) And if I could somehow squeeze Megan Fox and Zac Efron (doin' it...with each other) into the picture I'd be set for life.
