Master Gardener and manager of the Common Ground Garden Program.

I grew up in Pasadena, growing year-round fruits, vegetables and flowers organically. For 20 years, I have contributed gardening articles and photographs to University of California, state and national publications and websites. For 10 years, I have managed the UCCE Common Ground Garden Program, whose volunteers help low-income county residents to grow and eat more nutritious vegetables.

How easy and inexpensive gardening and growing food and flowers is. It doesn’t take a lot of effort or money, and is SOOOOO wonderful to serve something to your family and friends that’s just been harvested from your plot!

Hollywood blockbuster going to be about?

People who’re friendly and helpful and satisfied with their neighbors.

Gardening and growing with friends.
