The Team

Gordon Gould – CEO

Before founding ThisNext in 2005, serial Web entrepreneur Gordon Gould served as CEO of blog platform company Blogsmith (now part of AOL), president at New York's Silicon Alley Reporter/Rising Tide Studios (now part of Dow Jones) and founder & CEO at mobile community startup UPOC (now part of Dada Mobile). His belief in buying better to live better is why we're all here at ThisNext. Gordon has a BA in environmental studies from Pitzer College, served as a founding board member of MOUSE (Making Opportunities for Upgrading Schools and Education) and is the former co-chair of the L.A. branch of New Democrats Network.

Scott Morrow – President

Prior to joining ThisNext, Scott Morrow worked for IAC/Citysearch as Executive Vice President, Product & Marketing where he repositioned the brand and successfully launched the merchant and consumer Web sites, including integrated video. Prior to IAC, Morrow worked for more than five years for CNET Networks where he served as vice president, marketing and sales for the Download.com business unit. Earlier, Morrow held executive marketing and sales positions at the Edison Schools division of Whittle Communications. Morrow has also launched several entrepreneurial ventures. Morrow holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Tennessee and a MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.

Kevin Ayers – CFO

Kevin Ayers has been with ThisNext since early 2006. His background in senior finance and accounting roles in technology companies, including venture-funded manufacturers such as Fibermux and Xylan. He has also served as the CFO of En Pointe Technologies, a publicly-traded supplier of PCs, as well as shopping comparison engine PriceGrabber.com. Ayers holds an MS in finance and a BS in business administration, both from California State University, Northridge.

Tyson Woeste – Director of Product and Business Development

Tyson Woeste joined the ThisNext team in June of 2006.  Prior to ThisNext, he worked as an engineer in all kinds of industries including aerospace, fiber optics and lithium ion batteries.  Woeste has a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Victoria and an MBA from UCLA.
