About Daisy

Prior to entering the food world, Daisy was an actress and model. After graduating from the French Culinary Institute, she worked on the set of tv show Lidia's Italian-American Kitchen as a prep-kitchen chef, as a private chef in New York City, and ran a small catering business, "The Passionate Palate," which she still continues to operate.

Daisy communicates her cultural roots and knowledge of the broad spectrum of Latin cuisine at cooking demonstrations, public schools, special events, her own tv program, Daisy Cooks!, and cookbook, Daisy Cooks! Latin Flavors that Will Rock Your World.

Of course, we've got Daisy right here on ThisNext.com, and even got a chance to do a little one-on-one bonding.
