HYDRATE OR DIE! New design with no spillage even if its "open" and upside down apparently. Simply bite and sip - has no moving parts and cleans in a dishwasher with no problems... even fits in my cup holder! (via NOTCOT.com)

I bought one a few months ago. I keep it at my desk, and finally get the recommended amount of water I need each day.

My roommate recently got one of these and said it was the greatest purchase she has made. So of course I had to get one too... and she was totally right. I drink sooo much more water and it is just fantastic! Get one!

Great for use while running on the treadmill. Because you don't have to tilt it, you don't spill all over yourself.

I have two of these CamelBak bottles, and each has proven to be worth far more than its cost (around $12.00). Aside from the fact that it saves me money by diminishing the need to buy bottled water, this bottle will not leak, so it can be thrown in a tote bag/ backpack. I bring it to work, it fits in the cupholder of my car, and I've found that, when before I was lucky if i drank one glass of water a day, I now drink over the recommended amount. Also great to fall asleep next to after a night of drinking. I am not a hiker/out-doorsy type, which is what the brand is typically targeted to, and I am now seeing people carring these thigns everywhere. They are also dishwasher-safe which is fantastic.
I tell everyone it's my new BFFL, as It never leaves my side.

The bite and drink system is important. The sand/dust at Burning Man is very fine, and it gets into everything you bring with you. You're often surprised when you get home, "how the heck?" A water bottle is important, especially if you do not have the camelbak water bladder.

So okay, the picture doesn't make this much of fancy schmanzy looker you'd expect on this list. But it is dead useful. Every struggled with leaky bottles that crack, blow up, cave under high temperatures in the car and most of all never send water the right way when you're working out? This will do the trick. A must for all gym ppl. (via notcot)
