A Woman's Book of Strength: Karen Andes

If you are like me-a girl that's rather intimidated by the whole gym experience-this is a must read study book. Karen wonderfully explains and illuminates how to strengthen the body, especially a woman's body. And it doesn't involve trying to sculpt buns of steel or frantically keeping yourself from getting grossly thick with turbo muscle while trying to fit into small pants. It does involve wisdom, grace, and power-all things that are totally accessible to women. Her writing style is warm and open and very clear as she expresses her own personal experiences of fitness while illustrating its time honored principles.
