L'Artisan Parfumeur Pour des Prunes Scented French Candle
I warned you about my current candle fetish (don't worry it will soon be over - I switch to other home fragrance methods in the spring and summer!) But hey - fragrance is the quickest way to create a spa atomosphere. And this L'Artisan Candle is one of the uniquest scents ever. Don't let the prune name fool you - (don't tell anyone the name until they smell it - my bf refused to smell it after he saw the name though now he is won over.) It reminds me of burnt red wine (don't ask how I know, let's just say I'm a bad cook) or a walk through some fiery vineyards? Now that would be a travesty! Pour des Prunes translates to "Sugar Plum". Whatever - it's a perfect scent to burn at a wine tasting or during a dinner for two. Though these seem pricey, since you don't have to light the candle to enjoy the aroma (typical of strongly scented French lines), it will last longer than a candle of poorer quality. And the nose isn't the only thing indulged by L'Artisan Candles. The creamy natural wax, fluffy cotton wick, you feel ten times richer just opening the box and fondling the frosted glass gold emblazoned jar. SpaTime: Once you blow out a candle, let it cool a few mins. then dip your finger into the wax and put a thin layer on your cuticles. Let dry and peel off.
