I cry every time I listen to Sinead O'Connor sing "Nothing Compares 2 U." It gripped me by the throat when I first heard it, and it has never ceased to have that effect on me. Her voice is just exquisite, and she appears to throw her whole self into the singing of each one of her songs. The result is pure magic.
