"The Fountain" is a like it or hate it type of film; its romantic, new age elements will make some cringe, while others will be deeply touched. As for interpretations... Aronofsky compared his latest effort to a Rubik's Cube, saying it can be solved in different ways - for my part i only see one interpretation, but hey that's just me. The graphic novel (released after the first draft of the film, starring Pitt & Blanchett, was dropped) is a must-read before viewing.

This is definately a different kind of love story. Amazingly beautiful imagery and a heart felt love story that literally crosses time and space.
