they're right, but until you've eaten that much rice where YOU can tell, just get anything that is asian, short-grain, white rice. "premium" and "fancy" are just marketing terms.

(also, you can use brown rice for sushi, but it's harder to handle because the grains don't stick together as well, making it more difficult to roll or shape.)
