Ginger is a vasodilator, meaning it expands the blood vessels and increases body heat and metabolism by 20%. Ground, pickled, candied or fresh, it works in all formats to burn fat. Ginger's vasodilation properties also means that it detoxifies your body as it stimulates circulation. (via Lady Thrills)

Ginger is totally delicious and super-healthy. It is a powerful vasodialator and general body tonic. Supposedly very good at preventing infections. Plus it tastes awesome. I love the cool burn it gives. I always add ginger to my smoothies (along w/echinecea and st john's wort) (via GourmetGlam)

yeah i totally agree. I usually have ginger in my veg juice and some times in certain fruit juices and lately adding it in green tea as well. It also suppose to be a good detox for your liver, and more your liver is clean the body burns fast faster :)
