Pentel Graphgear 1000 Mechanical Drafting Pencil - 0.5 mm

Description

When you're a student, you have to write. A lot. I've also found that for certain courses, you need to re-write, on the fly, during lecture. A lot. That's where a pencil with an eraser becomes handy.

This is the first mechanical pencil that just works. My handwriting is beyond the pale, and I exert too much pressure when I scribble. But the Graphgear has multiple points where it hold the lead, making it much harder to break. A very good eraser is hidden under the cap. Nice grip too, with a solid, well balanced weight.

If you need to write with pencils I would highly recommend this one.
