A great commentary on the war in Iraq by Robert Scheer. Robert Scheer is a journalist with over 30 years experience. He has built his reputation on the strength of his social and political writing. Between 1964 and 1969, he was Vietnam correspondent, managing editor and editor in chief of Ramparts magazine. From 1976 to 1993, he served as a national correspondent for the Los Angeles Times, where he wrote articles on such diverse topics as the Soviet Union, arms control, national politics and the military. He is currently a contributing editor at The Times, as well as a contributing editor for The Nation magazine.
