Fashion for a very good cause!

For the last two years, concerned college students in SoCal have been making and selling these great shirts in order to raise awareness about the ongoing genocide in Darfur. The shirts are American Apparel (which means they're sweatshop-free!) and are sold AT COST - the hope is that people will resell them in their own communities and then donate the proceeds to a worthy charity (such as the International Rescue Committee, which is dedicated to aiding refugees and finding a solution to the genocide problem). So far thousands of dollars have been raised through this tshirt campaign.

The shirts come in 10 different colors and feature a fabulous graphic on the front with the words "Stop Genocide in Sudan." Everytime I wear one of mine out I always get questions and comments about it, which I think is just fantastic!

Visit the Students Against Genocide website for more info.

I feel like most small t-shirts run too small and most medium t-shirts run too large, so the American Apparel medium is perfect for me.

I love this shirt, I always get compliments on it. It really does raise awareness and increase conscientiousness.
