This print demonstrates Miró's style in what I think of as his heyday, incorporating basic shapes with his familiar palette of colors. He was able to achieve a depth combined with whimsy that few of his contemporaries could rival. I would also add that a print like this omits added text with the artist's name and title of the work, or exhibition information, which in my opinion makes otherwise fine pieces of art look like $5 posters made for tourists.
